Eight Things In June of 2008, the Lord gave Me a lesson by the above name. It seems to provide a concise "systematic theology."

1. Justification is by grace. {Grace on God's part with faith on my part.} [Romans 3:19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. NKJV Romans 4:23 Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, 24 but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, 25 who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification. NKJV Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. NKJV Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, NKJV Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, NKJV Titus 3:7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. NKJV]
2. Adherence {obedience} to the Word of God is only possible by way of the Holy Spirit. [Galatians 5:16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. NKJV John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. NKJV Many Christians "fail" in their spiritual walk because they haven't received the Holy Spirit to the extent that He has taken over the spiritual growth process (God dispenses His Spirit without measure--limitless--into those individuals who are surrendered without limit--without qualification. Now, has God truly limited the flow of His Spirit or have we limited our ability to receive?). The same Holy Spirit through whom the Word was received by man is the same Holy Spirit who can help us to walk in obedience to the Word. If power to walk in obedience to the Word is lacking in the saved individual--the remedy is found in total relinquishment into the flow of the Holy Spirit.]
3. Total unification of the human spirit with the I Am produces unity of operation into which all that I Am is, can flow. {God's Spirit prepares our vessel for His indwelling. And if God indwells our vessel then all that He is, is in us.} [1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. NKJV 1 John 1:1-7 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life — 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us — 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 4 And these things we write to you that your joy may be full. 5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. NKJV Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. NKJV If we do not yield to the preparatory work of the Holy Spirit then we cannot be vessels of His Spirit. Whereas it is most certainly true that God's Spirit does the work of sanctification (setting apart for His use), it is done only when our will is relinquished to the Divine will and purpose.]
4. Distortion {movement away from the Divine purpose} comes as a result of the will of the flesh {control by the carnal (unrenewed or untransformed) mind as opposed to being subject to the control of the Holy Spirit}. [Galatians 6:7-8 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. NKJV]
5. The God Consciousness must be activated. Otherwise you only can think of Me and not as Me. {Before original Sin, there was no separation from the Father—as He thought, so we thought. The unity of operation was disrupted when the human will diverged from that of the Divine through rebellion. After salvation, access is given (through Christ) to the "compartment" containing the means of direct communication with the Creator (which will come by means the Holy Spirit—the Divine communicator). If the Holy Spirit is interrupted by the human will, the God Consciousness will not be activated or continue to operate.} [1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear hear, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. 13 These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For "who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ. NKJV Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, NKJV Exaltation in the Spirit must always be preceded by obedience. This was the case for Christ and is also the case for every child of God. True God Consciousness is contingent upon the willingness to obey what is heard by way of the Spirit. What sense would it make for God to make His Mind known to us if we only intended to pick and choose that which we were willing to believe, obey, etc? 1 John 2:27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. NKJV]
6. Distance toward the goal/prize is artificially lengthened by illusion so as to discourage. Remove the mirage {produced as a result of natural logic} and you are there {the dimension of the Spirit}. [Mark 8:17 But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, "Why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Is your heart still hardened? 18 Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember? 19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up?" They said to Him, "Twelve." 20 "Also, when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of fragments did you take up?" And they said, "Seven." 21 So He said to them, "How is it you do not understand?" NKJV Here we see that the disciples misunderstood what Jesus had said about the leaven of the Pharisees (Mark 8: 15) because they were still trying to "figure things out" using their flesh mentality--thought processes fully contingent upon prior conditioning (experiences) and distorted by the Sin nature--rather than seeing with the eyes of the Spirit. The infilling of the Holy Spirit was meant to open the eyes, etc., however, we may still remain "blind" to the Truth after salvation if we refuse to allow the Holy Spirit total access to our total being--an eternal tragedy.) Hebrews 3:12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; 13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called "Today," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. NKJV The writer here is not speaking to the "unsaved." Those who believe that they cannot be deceived--already are.]
7. I Am not hiding--I Am waiting. When all things line up toward me {when your will is fully submitted to the will of the Father}, I Am immediately there. [James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. NKJV Matthew 18:18 "Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19 "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." NKJV God isn't waiting for us to be perfect, but He is waiting for us to be willing to be perfected by way of His Spirit!] 8. Form and function are inextricably connected. God will fill the prepared vessel and refuse the unprepared {Consider the parable of the sower in Luke 7 & 8. In Luke 8:15 we find Jesus' explanation of why one group of seeds prospered--"But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience. NKJV} [James 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain , "The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously (the Amplified Bible translates this as, "yearns to be welcome")"? 6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." NKJV Romans 13:11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. 13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. NKJV God has done such great things for us. He has provided a way back into His presence--a way to once again feel like His child. It is truly tragic that so many of us fail to walk through the open door (He has provided through Jesus Christ) and instead stay under the domination and control of the spirit of this world.]
