<>THE BELT OF TRUTH <> THE BELT OF TRUTH <> THE BELT OF TRUTH<>

Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.  As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.  And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.
John 17:17-19

"The Truth" is not the same as "the facts."  Even what we think is a fact is often not.  Our ability to rightly perceive and assess is limited by our own agenda, our experiences, our prejudices, and even our own humanity.  This prophetic lesson gives the Word of the Lord concerning the nature of absolute TRUTH.  It will help you tighten your Belt so that you won't drop your Sword!

Prophetic Lesson on "The Belt"

Janet Mushegan Watson

(Ephesians 6:10-17; Isaiah 11:5; 2 Thessalonians 2:13-15;
John 17:17-19
)

The truth does not reference facts but rather reality in all that I Am.  Any perspective other than this is necessarily limited and skewed. (1 Corinthians 2:6-9) Perception determines reactions and as such determines the boundaries of your activity. (Hosea 4:6)  It is the light of My Spirit that connects mortality to the view of immortality. (Proverbs 20:27; 1 Corinthians 2:10-16; John 16:12-13)  Truth (all that I Am) delivers you from the tyranny of your own experiences; the limitations of your own experiences; and the deception that can operate in this frame of reference.  (2 Corinthians 11:1-4; 2 Corinthians 4:2-4) Truth has no frame of reference; it is the frame of reference that—when applied to all other so-called truth—reveals distortion and inequity.  The light of My presence in you reveals all that is.  You are now operating as a blind man that gropes the wall to find the door.  (Deuteronomy 28:29; Isaiah 59:9-10; 2 Corinthians 4:1-6) You do not have to operate in this manner.  You stay connected to this world of bondage because you are a prisoner to your own analysis and understanding.  (John 8:31-36; John 8:43-47)  I will show you things you never thought were possible if you will only let go of your insistence on understanding everything and simply accept that what I say is TRUTH.  As you continue to find "facts" you remain bound to the temporal and distorted.  (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

As you yield to Me (believe Me) the boundaries that have separated you from the Truth are broken down and you enter into eternal day.

In coming days you will be deceived unless you are separated from the influence of appearances.  Deception manipulates your conclusions by presenting logical progressions in which you think you already know the rest of the process.  You do not know.  The devil is transformed into an angel of light by that with which he is surrounded.  (2 Corinthians 11:12-15) You will not even stop to ask if this is right—he manipulates what you are seeing and so determines what you are perceiving.  You must accept that you cannot trust what you think you are seeing—you presume too much.

I want you to know what I know, but you are not able to handle it.  What you can do is trust that I Am faithful and that I will tell you what you need to know.  The witness of My Spirit in you will be your compass.  If there is no witness in the Spirit you must not continue to act.  (Romans 8:13-17)

Truth in your heart and in your mouth will save many.  But remember, you cannot mix Truth with your ideas.  (Matthew 5:8; Isaiah 26:1-4) Just hear what I have said and do not try to determine "meaning."  Accept what I say and follow.

Scriptures for the Prophetic Lesson on "The Belt"

Janet Mushegan Watson

Ephesians 6:10-17

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. NIV

Isaiah 11:5

5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins,

And faithfulness the belt of His waist. NKJV

Isaiah 11:5

5 He will be clothed with fairness and truth. NLT

2 Thessalonians 2:13-15

But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, 14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. NKJV

John 17:17-19

17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.  18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.  19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. NKJV

1 Corinthians 2:6-16

6 Yet when I am among mature Christians, I do speak with words of wisdom, but not the kind of wisdom that belongs to this world, and not the kind that appeals to the rulers of this world, who are being brought to nothing. 7 No, the wisdom we speak of is the secret wisdom of God, which was hidden in former times, though he made it for our benefit before the world began. 8 But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would never have crucified our glorious Lord. 9 That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him."

Hosea 4:6

6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Because you have rejected knowledge,

I also will reject you from being priest for Me;

Because you have forgotten the law of your God,

I also will forget your children. NKJV

Proverbs 20:27

27 The spirit of man [that factor in human personality which proceeds immediately from God] is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts. AMP

1 Corinthians 2:10-16

10 But we know these things because God has revealed them to us by his Spirit, and his Spirit searches out everything and shows us even God's deep secrets. 11 No one can know what anyone else is really thinking except that person alone, and no one can know God's thoughts except God's own Spirit. 12 And God has actually given us his Spirit (not the world's spirit) so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us. 13 When we tell you this, we do not use words of human wisdom. We speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit's words to explain spiritual truths. 14 But people who aren't Christians can't understand these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them because only those who have the Spirit can understand what the Spirit means. 15 We who have the Spirit understand these things, but others can't understand us at all. 16 How could they? For, "Who can know what the Lord is thinking?  Who can give him counsel?" But we can understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ. NLT

John 16:12-13

12 "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.  13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. NKJV

2 Corinthians 11:1-4

Oh, that you would bear with me in a little folly — and indeed you do bear with me. 2 For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted — you may well put up with it! NKJV

2 Corinthians 4:2-4

2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. NKJV

Deuteronomy 28:29

29 And you shall grope at noonday, as a blind man gropes in darkness; you shall not prosper in your ways; you shall be only oppressed and plundered continually, and no one shall save you.

NKJV

Isaiah 59:9-10

9 So justice is far from us,

and righteousness does not reach us.

We look for light, but all is darkness;

for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows.

10 Like the blind we grope along the wall,

feeling our way like men without eyes.

At midday we stumble as if it were twilight;

among the strong, we are like the dead. NIV

2 Corinthians 4:1-6

4:1 Therefore, since through God's mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. 2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. NIV

John 8:31-36

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.  32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." 33 They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, 'You will be made free'?" 34 Jesus answered them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.  35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever.  36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

John 8:43-47

43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.  44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.  45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.  46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?  47 He who is of God hears God's words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God."  NKJV

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. NKJV

2 Corinthians 11:12-15

12 But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast. 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. NKJV

Romans 8:13-17

13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs — heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. NKJV

Matthew 5:8

8 Blessed are the pure in heart,

For they shall see God. NKJV

Isaiah 26:1-4

In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah:

"We have a strong city; God will appoint salvation for walls and bulwarks. 2 Open the gates, That the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in. 3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. 4 Trust in the LORD forever, For in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength. NKJV

Isaiah 26:1-4

26:1 IN THAT day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah: We have a strong city; [the Lord] sets up salvation as walls and bulwarks. 2 Open the gates, that the [uncompromisingly] righteous nation which keeps her faith and her troth [with God] may enter in. 3 You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You. 4 So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].
