Transforming Word

Transforming Word Part 1

Transforming Word Part 2

The Word is peculiarly formed to be able to adapt to the needs of the individual.  It is not static but dynamic—it is not simply for the purpose of examination, edification, or observation.  It has within it the power of transformation.1 The individual becomes assimilated into the whole of the Word and so becomes one with it.2,3 You cannot stand afar from it and expect the promise (of transformation) to be revealed.  You must allow it to take hold of you4 and to use you as fertile soil in which it takes root, grows, flourishes and bears fruit.5

"Thy Word have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against thee,"6 indicates the planting—it is not hidden in that it cannot be seen—it is plunged into the depths of your being where it germinates--roots, sprouts and forms within you the Christ of God.  As He grows, all parts in contact with the Word are (trans)formed.  If you limit access the process will not only be contained, but will eventually be only a form with no power.7 The dynamic working of My Spirit by way of the word is self-contained and self-perpetuating.8 Your submission to the process is all that is required.9  [The heart must be "single" of purpose.]10

Here is the process so that you can better understand:

Brokenness (openness)11

Reception

Obedience

Growth

This cycle repeats itself as the pressure/presence of the Word produces further brokenness, etc.

The point of brokenness is the most vulnerable stage in your spiritual development and journey.  In this open, vulnerable state—a choice is made.  Some (people) remain broken and the brokenness destroys.  Some try to fill the brokenness with more of the same and so continue in a downward spiral of greater emptiness.  "Hell is enlarged" is the logical conclusion of brokenness with no remedy.12

"Faith comes by hearing,"13indicates that it is My Spirit in you that believes in Me.  As you meditate upon My Word it will transform you.  Allow it to break and to plant—to grow and produce fruit.  So few understand this process and their ignorance is destroying them.  My Word loves My Word.  "I have been crucified—nevertheless, I live."14

Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth.
John 17:17 AMP

For whatever was thus written in former days was written for our instruction, that by [our steadfast and patient] endurance and the encouragement [drawn] from the Scriptures we might hold fast to and cherish hope.

Romans 15:4 AMP

Scripture References for Prophetic Lesson on the Transforming Word

(All are NKJV unless otherwise stated)

1Romans 12:1-3

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. 3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

2John 8:31

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

3John 15:7

If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. AMP

4Philippians 3:12

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

5John 15:8

When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine. AMP

6Psalms 119:11-17

11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. 12 Blessed are You, O LORD!  Teach me Your statutes. 13 With my lips I have declared all the judgments of Your mouth. 14 I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches. 15 I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways. 16 I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. 17 Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your word.

72 Tim 3:5

For [although] they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them]. AMP

8Phil 2:13

[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight. AMP

9James 4:7-10

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

10Psalm 86:11 Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth;

Unite my heart to fear Your name. NKJV

For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.

12Isaiah 5:13-14

13 Therefore my people have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge;

Their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. 14 Therefore Sheol has enlarged itself and opened its mouth beyond measure; their glory and their multitude and their pomp, and he who is jubilant, shall descend into it.

13Romans 10:17

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

14Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
